I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.  Your works are wonderful.  My soul knows that very well. Psalm 139.14

There are still many in our Fellowship to pray for. Claire, has had a good week.  She has a MRI scan scheduled for tomorrow (Monday). Please remember Mary Parsons Ted and Margaret Allford., Margaret and David Stratton, Vera Care, Jimmy and Vanessa Barber, and Ron Watkins.  Don’t forget to continue to pray for Allie Bygrave, Betty Stevens, Iris Bidgood. We hear that Leah is to go to hospital on the 19th February for her heart operation.  This is a big operation, but we can trust our God! Pray without ceasing! Please also pray for Joshua Peters the 14 year old great grandson of Lillian Stevens who has had surgery for a brain tumour and is receiving treatment.

There will be a service at Trewartha Care Home Carbis Bay on this coming Thursday at 11am.  Please try and support this outreach.  Some of the old folk love to hear the singing – some drop off to sleep, but the Carers often listen!

Continue to pray for those from our country who are called to serve the Lord abroad, as heard at the ‘Cornwall  Missions Conference’ yesterday.  We may not have had the privilege to be called, but we can pray for those who have.

Continued prayer is needed for the state of this country;  that the Prime Minister and all the members of Parliament will seek the help of God.  For our comfort, we know that God is still in control.

On the first Saturday of every month, there is an open prayer meeting from 10am until 2pm at Fore Street Methodist Chapel.  At recent joint churches gathering, it was thought to have this around different churches in St Ives/Carbis Bay.  If you want to know what is involved, you are welcome to pop in at the next one in March.

Please also remember your stamps. The proceeds from the sale of these go to the Slavic Gospel Association.

Thought for the Week: Grace and mercy are unearned blessings!
