As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear HIM. Psalm 103.13
We are pleased that you are able to join with us today. If you are on holiday, please take our greetings back to your home church. We are here to worship our risen Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. The Service this morning and evening will be taken by the Revd. Robert Amess. We pray that both the Speaker and the hearers will receive a blessing from the Lord. The Lord’s Supper will follow the service this morning, and all who love the Lord are invited to join with us at this special time. Lord’s Table Servers today are George White and Joel Perkin.

There are still many in our Fellowship to pray for. Please remember Mary Parsons, Ted and Margaret Allford, Elizabeth Veal, Margaret and David Stratton, Vera Care, Jimmy and Vanessa Barber, and Ron Watkins. Claire has had a good week. She had a full body scan on Friday, and is awaiting results. Allie started her course of chemo last week but had a bad reaction. She now has tablets for the next 2 weeks. Please keep praying. Please continue to pray for Iris – she is in a lot of pain. Also pray for Paul and Debbie Trevorrow. We must not forget the people in Indonesia, who have suffered this awful earthquake and tsunami.
There are three dates booked for the Carol Choir leading up to Christmas, which are 1st December at the Tate Gallery at 4.30pm. 5th December at St Uny at 7pm, 15th December at Fore Street Chapel at 7.30pm. We will be holding practices in the Fore Street Sunday School at 3pm each Sunday through November. Hope you can make it. Please spread the word… and bring your music if you have it. Look forward to seeing you all, William Thomas.
Please would everyone give a telephone number of someone to be contacted in the event of an accident, to Mary Cowling. This list will be kept at the Chapel for use in an emergency! If you have previously given a contact number to Mary, can you please check that it has not changed – this often happens if the person changes their phone.
Bible Christian Chapel Christmas Dinner is on Sunday 16th December 2018 at the Carbis Bay Hotel, 12:30 for 1pm.
Shoe box Appeal Leaflets are available in the foyer and shoeboxes in the Sunday School Room. £5.00 per box has been suggested by Samaritans Purse to cover project costs, including transportation. Please bring boxes to Chapel by Sunday 4th November. If you are unable to fill a shoebox, donations would be gratefully received.
Please remember to collect stamps for Slavic Gospel Association funds. There is a collecting jar in the Schoolroom.
All the services in the Chapel are recorded and are available to purchase or to borrow. See Maurice Jackson or Joel Perkin if you would like to have one.
Thought for the Week: Jesus laid down His life to show His love for us.
