We are pleased that you are able to join with us on the second Sunday in Lent, as we are here to worship our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. If you are on holiday, we welcome you and ask that you will please take our greetings back to your home church. The service this morning  will be led by the Rev. Robert Amess, and the service this evening will be taken by the Rev. Edwin Myers. We pray that both Speakers and hearers will receive a blessing from the Lord. The Lord’s Supper will follow the service this morning, and all who love the Lord are invited to join with us at this special time. There is a basket in the foyer to receive offerings for the Food Bank.

Please continue to pray for Edward Jenkyn and also Leah. We have no specific news about them, but they need our prayers! There are still many in our Fellowship to pray for. Claire is still going on steadily.  Please remember Mary Parsons, Jimmy and Vanessa Barber, Ted and Margaret Allford, Margaret and David Stratton and Vera Care, also pray for Allie  Bygrave, Iris Bidgood and Joshua Peters.  Doreen has fractured a couple of bones in her back and needs to take it easier, she has been advised to take pain killers when required. She would be glad of our prayers. Margaret Trevorrow is not at all well.  Pray without ceasing!

Calling notice for special General Church Meeting. At the recent Circuit Meeting, held on the 27th Feb, there was lengthy discussion about the financial responsibility of local churches towards the Ministry of the Circuit. The outcome of the discussion has led to the need for a special general church meeting to be held at Bible Christian. There is a Church Council meeting on the 26th March at 7pm. The first half-hour of the meeting will be a special General Church Meeting. It is an open meeting at which all who are part of Bible Christian may attend so as to discuss the future of the Church. This meeting will be attended by the Superintendent of the Circuit.

The collection taken at the World Day of Prayer amounted to £108.20. Many thanks to all who contributed.

The offering at the SGA evening last Tuesday raised £390.

Meetings at Redruth Baptist Church on 30th March, at 3pm and 5.30pm.  The Title will be ‘A picture of the Marriage of the Lamb.’ – a Jewish Wedding – Rev 19.7, the Speaker will be John Angliss from the Prophetic Witness Movement International.
