There have been excellent exam results recently. Georgina has had a successful first year at Cardiff. Paul and Friedrich with their A levels.  Paul will be going to Manchester to study Biology, and Friedrich is off to Bristol to study Russian and Philosophy.  Congratulations also go to Olivia on her AS level results, and Magdalene on her GCSEs.

If anyone feels they would like to lead the worship before the services, please speak to Peter James.

Will folk please note that the car parking space at the Church Hall is only to be used for Church related activities. Sometimes people have come to clean the Chapel (or other duties) and have not been able to park! The UBM have been given permission to use the car park each evening when they need it, other than Sunday and Monday.

Revd. Edwin Myers and his family are settling into the Manse in Carbis Bay, but find there are one or two jobs that need attending to. If anyone is able to help with fixing double glazing, mending a leak in the bathroom or building an outside step, please contact Karen Curnow or Revd. Edwin Myers.

The church is planning an Outreach at the time of the Town’s September Festival. We are trying to fit in with the theme of the Festival’s Arts/Crafts. These will take place in the Church Hall.

Monday 10th, 3pm to 5pm. Celebrate with a festival cream tea.

Tuesday 11th at 2.00pm. ‘SEASIDE CRAFTS’ see and do with a workshop in craft.

Thursday 13th at 11.30am. Hear and see how the early artists put the colour into old St Ives.

This is an opportunity for the whole church to be involved, there is something you can do and I would like to encourage you all to think about this. PRAY! Bring along someone you know. Chat to people.  Help with coffee/teas, washing up, even drying a few cups. A really important thing is to encourage and support everyone by your presence. If you can help in any way, please contact Trish Jackson.

Please remember to collect stamps for Slavic Gospel Association funds. There is a collecting jar in the Schoolroom.

All the services in the Chapel are recorded and are available to purchase or to borrow. See Maurice Jackson or Joel Perkin if you would like to have one.

Thought for the WeekOnly God is worthy of our adoration and devotion.
