Also pray for Rita Phillips, Iris Bidgood, and Joshua Peters.  Barbara Andrewartha is still not very well.   We can give thanks that Margaret Trevorrow is quite a bit better. Carol Gee is also quite unwell, as is Drew Stewart. David Smith is not at all well, and would be glad of our prayers.  Bob Spouse is progressing as expected, and still needs prayer. Also please pray for Newell Perkin who is now in a Care Home near Plymouth, to be near his family and others in the town who are poorly.  Pray without ceasing!

There will be a bowling evening at Porthmeor Bowling Club on this coming Friday, 2nd August at 6pm, weather permitting!  If you would like to order a pasty then please let one of the organisers now.  If it is wet there will be activities in the Church Hall!

In the New Year the churches in the area would like to offer the Schools Association assistance in providing the curriculum requirement of Religious Instruction through ’Open the Book’.  For this to happen volunteers are needed.  Please contact Edwin if you are interested in helping.

Joan Watkins will soon be leaving us to be near her family in Falmouth.  She is a dear lady, and very much loved by the Fellowship.  She was a great help in getting tea at the Ladies meeting for some years, and we will miss her.  We trust she will be very happy in the future.

The Chapel Christmas Dinner for this year will be held at Rosewarne Manor, Connor Downs on the 15th December. Details to follow.

Last Week’s collection amounted to £562.80 and donations towards the costs of the Church Hall was £50. We have also received an anonymous gift of 50 chairs for the Church Hall, for which we are very grateful.  This was a gift of chairs, and not a financial gift!

Please also remember your stamps, the proceeds from the sale of these go to the Slavic Gospel Association.
