“Called to the Nations” is a packed 1 day overseas missions conference which was born out of a vision, desire and passion to help every follower of Jesus play their own unique part in the Great Commission. Many international missionary organisations will be there through the day promoting their work and sharing how to get involved.

There will be many opportunities to sign up for life changing short term overseas trips. “It was on one of these trips 10 years ago that I felt God speak to me through Psalm 90:12, ‘Teach me to number my days and use them wisely’ which results in our family serving in Loas, SE Asia among the rural poor hill tribes” Andrew from Redruth. How can I contact the organiser with any questions?

Please email servingseasia@gmail.com will any questions.

On Sunday 10th February, George Verwer (founder of Operation Mobilisation)  is speaking at Fore Street Chapel, St Ives at 6pm.

Continued prayer is needed for the state of this country;  that the Prime Minister and all the members of Parliament will seek the help of God.  For our comfort, we know that God is still in control.

On 17th February, at 7pm there will be a joint service at St John in the Field with ‘One Heart’ and the Rev. Edwin Myers as the speaker.

On the first Saturday of every month, there is an open prayer meeting from 10am until 2pm at Fore Street Methodist Chapel.  At recent joint churches gathering, it was thought to have this around different churches in St Ives/Carbis Bay.  If you want to know what is involved, you are welcome to pop in at the next one in March.

Please also remember your stamps. The proceeds from the sale of these go to the Slavic Gospel Association.

Thought for the Week: Kind words can lift a heavy heart.
