I’ve been a Christian since I was 20 years old. I’m married to Adele and we have two daughters, Sally and Phoebe. The latest addition to our family is our grandson Cassian. Adele and I both grew up in the market town of Gainsborough in Lincolnshire. Neither of us is from a Christian background, we both began discovering Jesus in our late teens.
I’ve been an ordained minister now for over 20 years. Prior to my call to the ministry I worked for years as a Christian musician and evangelist, so worship and teaching are two of the biggest parts of my ministry to date: but the Lord has done so many amazing things over the past 20 years in many areas of ministry.
My first appointment was in Lancashire, followed by ten years in East Dorset near Bournemouth. Following that I served for five years in South Devon and currently I am in the Redhill and East Grinstead Circuit. But over the years Adele and I have belonged to or worked for pretty much every type of evangelical Christian church that you could mention – so we don’t have much of a sense of denominational identity. Spirit-filled evangelical Christians is what we are. We believe in the power and truth of God’s Word in the Bible; and we apply ourselves to living well for Jesus, following his teachings and discovering his plan and purpose in our lives.
“For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord: plans to prosper you and not to harm you – plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11)
Come Holy Spirit.
