The following message has been received from Barbara Andrewartha. Hello, I would like to thank the people of my chapel for the prayers, flowers and kind wishes. As some of you may know i went down with pneumonia  and pleurisy in early may this year, where it came from goodness only knows  but I thought i was going to lose the battle at one point but MY LORD answered prayers and i gradually got better to where i am at this moment, my last XRAY which was 3 weeks ago showed that I still had pneumonia so please keep praying, the flowers from chapel allowed me to know you had not forgotten me .which means so much. God Bless You All.

In the New Year the churches in the area would like to offer the Schools Association assistance in providing the curriculum requirement of Religious Instruction through ’Open the Book’.  For this to happen volunteers are needed. A training day will be held on the 10th October between 10am and 1pm at St John’s in the Fields.

Please give any money towards the flowers and pasties for Harvest to Ruth Trevorrow.

The numbers of people able and willing to do the Chapel cleaning are getting fewer and it is now a real problem. Are you able and also willing to join this rota?
