Edwin Myers.  We pray that both the Speakers and hearers will receive a blessing from the Lord.  The Lord’s Supper will follow the service this evening, and all who love the Lord are invited to join with us at this special time. Also pray for Rita Phillips, Iris Bidgood, Joshua Peters and Barbara Andrewartha.   We can give thanks that Margaret Trevorrow is quite a bit better.  David Smith is still not at all well, and would be glad of our prayers. Also please pray for others in the town who are poorly.  Pray without ceasing!

Carbis Bay Wesley Church will be open for folk to pop in and out from 10am – 16.00 to join in the National Day of Prayer on Saturday 31st August.

We must continue to pray for the events in our Chapel during the September Festival.  We can invite folk to come, be friendly, and serve refreshments! 

In the New Year the churches in the area would like to offer the Schools Association assistance in providing the curriculum requirement of Religious Instruction through ’Open the Book’.  For this to happen volunteers are needed.

These are the practice dates for the Carol Choir; Practices in Fore Street Sunday School each Sunday afternoon in November.  Appointments – Thursday, 5th December St Uny Church at 7pm.  Saturday 14th December Fore Street Methodist Church at 7pm.  Monday 16th December at 7pm Old Cornwall Society, Junior School.

The Chapel Christmas Dinner for this year will be held at Rosewarne Manor (Connor Downs) on 15th December.

The assessment for 2019-2020 will be £15927, which equates to £3981.75 per quarter or £1327.25 per month.  So far this year we have paid £12000 and I expect to add to this DV.  Thank you to all who have increased their giving.
