Church Cleaning for 3rd November is to be by Gill and William Barber. The number of people able and willing to do the Chapel cleaning are getting fewer and it is now a real problem as those still on the rota have to take their turn every 5 weeks. Are you able and also willing to join this rota?

Tuesday at 7.30pm, Prayer and Bible Study about London City Mission. Sadly we will not have a London City Missionary with us, but we will be considering their work in London with the help of a video, some notes and prayer pointers. There will be a retiring offering to support their work.

Shoebox Appeal Leaflets are available in the foyer and shoeboxes in the Sunday School. £5 per box has been suggested by Samaritans Purse to cover project costs, including transportation. Please bring boxes to Chapel by 3rd November. If you are unable to do a box, donations would be gratefully received. Please note – No sweets or toothpaste, because of customs regulations.
The Chapel Christmas Dinner for this year will be held at Rosewarne Manor, Connor Downs on 15th December.
The collection last week amounted to £564.53. Hall Contribution £77.00
The assessment for 2019-2020 will be £15927, which equates to £1327.25 per month. We have paid our first quarter of the assessment in full – £3987.75.
In the New Year the churches in the area would like to offer the Schools Association assistance in providing the curriculum requirement of Religious Instruction through ’Open the Book’. For this to happen volunteers are needed.
These are the practice dates for the Carol Choir; Practices in Fore Street Sunday School each Sunday afternoon in November. Appointments – Thursday, 5th December St Uny Church at 7pm. Saturday 14th December Fore Street Methodist Church at 7pm. Monday 16th December at 7pm Old Cornwall Society, Junior School.
