Look among the nations and watch.  Be utterly astounded.  For I will work a work in your days which you would not believe though it were told you. Habakkuk 1.5

We are pleased that you are able to join with us today, as we are here to worship our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  If you are on holiday, we welcome you and ask that you will please take our greetings back to your home church.   The service this morning will be taken by Rev Robert Amess, and the service this evening will be taken by Rev Edwin Myers.  We pray that both the Speakers and hearers will receive a blessing from the Lord.  The Lord’s Supper will follow the service this morning, and all who love the Lord are invited to join with us at this special time. Also pray for Rita Phillips, Iris Bidgood, Joshua Peters and Barbara Andrewartha.  David Smith seems a little better, but is still in need of our prayers. In the New Year the churches in the area would like to offer the Schools Association assistance in providing the curriculum requirement of Religious Instruction through ’Open the Book’.  For this to happen volunteers are needed.

There will be a meeting at Trewartha Care Home on this coming Thursday, at 11pm.

Sam, Alan and Kath’s grandson sends his thanks to everyone who sponsored him for his parachute jump.  He did this safely last Friday, and is now back at College.  The money collected will go towards building a shelter for some homeless people in Romania.

Please give any money towards the flowers and pasties for Harvest to Ruth Trevorrow.

The numbers of people able and willing to do the Chapel cleaning are getting fewer and it is now a real problem. Are you able and also willing to join this rota?
